What to Expect

Preparing for your Healing Session

During the initial consultation call, we will discuss the session flow and answer any questions you may have.  

To prepare for your session, it is encouraged to read the information on this website, especially if you are new to Energy Healing. Also, think about what intentions you may have for your session.

We will discuss these at the initial phone conversation and the beginning of your session.

There are many different reasons to come for Healing and intentions which you may have for the session. Maybe it is to experience this energy healing for yourself and you are listening to a call of curiosity that you feel ready to act upon. Or, maybe you have some specific needs that you’d like to address such as… Relief from a hectic, stressful job or lifestyle which may be causing you mind racing, muscular tension, other stress-induced mental or physical symptoms? Feeling trapped or blocked from achieving your desired goals?Alleviation of a physical chronic ache or pain? Boosting results from “conventional” medical or therapeutic support you are receiving? Relief from anxiety or feeling easily triggered or reactive? Feelings of greater self-love or self-esteem? Empowerment during a time of career or personal transition? Readiness for change? Feeling connection to spirit or spirituality? Desiring mental clarity? Peacefulness in coping with grief, sudden loss or navigating the unknown?

These are all examples of reasons why people just like yourself might come to receive an Energy Healing session. Whatever your intention(s), Energy Healing is never a replacement for medical treatment.

Prior to Your Session

  • Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.  Drinking plenty of water helps keep your system open and grounded as we move energy and rebalance. 

  • Avoid having a heavy meal before a session. 

  • Use the restroom if you need so that you can enjoy the full session without being interrupted.

  • Wear comfortable clothing.  Most sessions include standing and sitting for periods of time.  You can keep your shoes on, depending what you are comfortable with.  

  • Some sessions involve lying down.

  • We play soft relaxing music during the session 

  • Incense is issued in the session room as it helps quiet the mind and increase concentration.  Incense is also used to clear negative energy and set a peaceful space for healing.

  • Turn your devices to ‘do not disturb’.

After Your Session

  • Continue to hydrate and keep your physical system optimally flowing

  • Eat healthy food that makes your body feel strong

  • Meditate at least once daily, even if for a shot amount of time.  Meditation centers your mind and spirit allowing for a healthy flow in and out.  You may wish to connect back to a feeling of peace or calm that you had during your session.  As we center our minds and let distractions go we move into more direct contact with our inner divine nature and our connection to source.  Meditation is one of the best ways to connect to your higher self. You can choose silent meditation, listen to soothing music or toning/sound bath, or guided meditation.  We offer in person and zoom guided meditation and will be offering recorded meditation sessions as well.

  • Keep in touch.  We will reach out to you following your session for additional support, discuss any questions you may have, or discuss additional sessions options.
